GCO-609 Clinical Counseling Thesis II

The thesis sequence is a directed set of experiences that involve developing an acceptable research plan and carrying out a project (using primary and secondary data sources) that culminates in the writing of a professional quality manuscript in the current APA format as well as presenting the project findings at an open defense to faculty and students. In Thesis II, the student performs the following specific tasks: 1. The submission, and approval of an IRB application, 2. the writing of a professional literature review and methods section, and 3. the collection and analysis of data. The professor and thesis student meet frequently throughout the semester to discuss project progress.
