First-Year Student Advising

Centenary’s Advising Specialists are here to ensure a smooth academic start for all incoming students. Before registering for classes, students must activate their Centenary Portal using instructions provided in their acceptance packet. Activation includes enrolling in the Password Reset Self-Service System.

 

To get started with class scheduling, students should complete the following steps:

  • Take Placement Tests in Writing, Math, and Chemistry
  • Submit the Advising Questionnaire to help us understand academic goals and preferences
  • Register for Cyclone Beginnings, Centenary’s summer pre-orientation event
