LAS-1500 Conference & Convention Planning
In this course, students will plan an academic conference and comic convention. Among the many tasks involved, students will develop marketing objectives, recruit presenters, plan the programming schedules, collaborate with faculty and staff on campus, and promote the events. Students will also attend a local conference and/or convention and speak with others involved in the event.
