Accreditation

Centenary University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the University Senate of the United Methodist Church, the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Centenary University’s Department of Business Administration has the following degree programs accredited by IACBE: Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Management, Marketing, and Sports Management. Centenary University’s Education Department has the following programs accredited by CAEP: the Undergraduate Teacher Certification Programs, the Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership, the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, The Master of Education in Educational Practice, the Master of Education in Reading with the New Jersey Reading Specialist Certification, and the Master of Arts in Special Education. The Bachelor of Social Work Degree is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
