CHM-2301 Organic Chemistry II

This course is designed for Biology majors as well as equine majors who are planning on applying to veterinary school. The course will address the structures, properties, and reactions of organic compounds as well as their applications to biological systems. Part II includes: Alcohols, Phenols, Ethers, Aldehydes and Ketones, Carboxylic Acids and Derivatives, Carbonyl Alpha-Substitution Reactions, Amines, Structure Determination, and an Introduction to Biomolecules.
