ENV-4400 Solid & Hazardous Waste Management
This course will examine hazardous and municipal solid wastes, as well as include a discussion of agricultural wastes and recovery of resources (recycling and/or reuse). Specific topics covered
in this course include: sources and types of solid wastes; identification, and classification, of hazardous waste, wastes; waste handling, transport, treatment, and disposal techniques, federal and state legislation; and environmental health effects.
