FAS-1205 Nature of Work: Fashion
Whether a student has a creative mind and aspires to work in design, trend forecasting or visual merchandising, or are business-minded and analytical, there are endless possibilities within
a fashion career-making the industry one of the largest employers in the US. Students will examine the job market , learn how to research prospective employers, and evaluate their own
competencies and strengths. In addition, students will create resumes and cover letters, and prepare for job interviews. Through networking and interviewing experiences, along with great speakers by many industry professionals, students will be enriched and inspired by these opportunities and interactions-what an exciting way to kick off your college career.
