HSC-3200 Strength Training Conditioning

This course will discover the key theories, concepts, and scientific principles of strength training and conditioning.  Students will study information on testing and evaluation, exercise techniques, training adaptions and program design for common high school, collegiate and professional sports.  This course will focus on applying the concepts of exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics of exercise and injury and nutrition.  The goal of this course is to bridge the gap between science and practice as it relates to strength and conditioning.
