THA-3013 Theatre History III

Theatre History is offered in four separate courses.  The sequence of two of the four may be taken selectively, but the student must take two of the four to receive credit for the major or the Core.  By dealing with the influential forces of the various cultures, traditions and technologies, the courses explore the evolution and development of the theatre as a composite art and social institution.  This section of the course will focus on Neoclassical Ideals, Restoration, and Romanticism.
