BUS-3020 Business Statistics

This course explores the basic terms and concepts of statistics and statistical analysis and its use in analyzing data and solving problems. The use of quantitative tools and techniques in formulating and analyzing business decisions will be studied. Statistical descriptions, probability distributions, time series analysis, sampling, field surveys, and sampling distribution as well as the problems of estimation and statistical inference are also examined. An overarching goal is to create educated consumers of statistics and statistical analyses.
