Commencement
Centenary University awards degrees four times during the year: January, May, July, and September. Centenary's commencement ceremony is held annually in the month of May. Applications for Degree Conferral must be completed and delivered to the Registrar’s Office by the date specified in the Academic Calendar along with the graduation fee. Graduation applicants who do not meet the specified application date will be moved to the next graduation date following completion of the application and payment of the graduation fee.
The following students are eligible to participate in the May Ceremony:
- Students completing all degree requirements in May.
- Students who previously completed their associate or bachelor degree in January.
- Students who will complete their degree requirements by September with no more than 8 credits to be completed over the summer.
- Be in good financial standing with Centenary University.
- Be in good academic standing. Undergraduate students must have an overall minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 and GPA in the major courses must be 2.000 or better.
