MLS-4940 Clinical Practicum-Immunohematology
Advanced clinical practice in a hospital blood banking laboratory used to apply and build on the knowledge and skills by using both simple and complex analytical procedures to perform blood typing and blood analysis and to prevent transfusion reactions. Quality control, precision and accuracy of testing and providing competent interpretation of clinical data is imperative. MLS Director approval required to register for this course.
