Accessibility Services

Centenary University is committed to ensuring equal access and providing reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities through the Accessibility Services Office, located in the Harris and Betts Smith Learning Center. Our goal is to support student success by offering tools, accommodations, and guidance that promote independence and self-advocacy.

In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, no qualified person shall be excluded from participation in, or be subjected to discrimination under, any University program or activity. This commitment extends across all areas of campus life, including academics, employment, facilities, and student services. Achieving full inclusion requires the collaboration of all departments and personnel, and the University continues to strive for excellence in delivering accessible and inclusive services.

Accessibility Services arranges academic and housing accommodations for eligible students to help ensure full participation in university programs, services, and activities. To receive accommodations, students must self-identify and submit appropriate documentation. Early requests, ideally before the semester begins, help to ensure timely support and that the accommodations are in place prior to the semester starting.  For more information or to set up an appointment please email
