Overview
Program Description
The LDT-C Endorsement is an online 9-course, 27-credit sequence designed to provide candidates with the ability to diagnose and correct learning disabilities. The program culminates with a 90-hour practicum in which candidates diagnose and create a remediation plan that supports students in working toward their full potential. This endorsement (#3300) authorizes the holder to serve as a learning disabilities teacher-consultant in all public schools in New Jersey.
The LDT-C can be taken as a separate program for those who already have a master’s degree and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement. This endorsement can also be incorporated into a M.A. in Special Education with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification and LDT-C certification at Centenary for 42 credits.
