EDU-3000 Assistive Technology

This course is designed as a field experience course for the teacher of the students with disabilities certification candidate to gain knowledge about, and have the opportunity to work with, assistive technology used in the field. Students will be required to complete thirteen hours of field work in an approved special education setting or settings. Students will be exposed to a broad range of assistive technology that is available, observe and interact with classes using technology, and plan lessons utilizing this technology. Take EDU-3031 either previous to or concurrently with EDU-3000. Minimum grade of B- is required.
