Communications - 12credits

A brilliant idea does no good if it's not communicated.  Every career requires excellent communication skills, which these three courses develop: Writing (8 credits) and Public Speaking (4 credits).  These courses are about more than techniques of writing and speaking: students learn to make compelling and responsible arguments.   (*Students must pass both courses in the writing sequence with a C- or above.) After a self-placement questionnaire, student are placed in either WRI 1001 or WRI 1002, after which they take ether WRI 1002 or WRI 2012 (Advanced Composition).
