GBA-650 Ethics: Contemporary Health Environment & Evidence Based Management

This course provides a foundation in personal, professional, and organizational ethics in diverse healthcare settings, including an investigation of philosophical theories and principles for ethical decision making. Encouraging critical thinking, the student will investigate ethical issues related to the challenges of the current health environment, including establishing working relationships that are sensitive to differing cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds. The interconnectivity of ethics, communication, and evidence-based management is also considered.

Complete GBA-500, GBA-505, GBA-570, GBA-520, GBA-530, GBA-550, and GBA-560 with minimum grades of B. Must be completed prior to taking tis course.
