GED-604 Behavior Management
This course examines a variety of models of behavior management for a diverse population. A study of students who exhibit involved and/or disruptive behaviors is included. The purpose of
GED 604 is to provide graduate level students who have received teacher certification with a review of behavior management models and research-based strategies for classroom management. The course provides teachers with the knowledge and skills to create learning environments that motivate students through learning and self-management skills along with a repertoire of responsible behaviors. The course considers the role and importance of behavior management for effective teaching and learning.
Prerequisite
Take or complete GED-601 with a minimum grade of B.
